Welcome to Ardmona Primary School
Ardmona Primary School is located approximately seven kilometres West of Mooroopna. The school is set in a pleasant rural setting within a dairy farming, fruit growing and horticulural area. During the school's 125 year history close links have been kept with the local community.
The current buildings are approximately 125 years old, however they have had many small additions and alterations. The school currently features a timber building incorporation three well appointed air conditioned and heated classrooms, a Distance Education Room, a Library and an adequate administration and meeting area. The school grounds incorporate a modern playground, two ovals, shaded areas, extensive active and passive play areas, and an all weather basketball, tennis court/skills teaching area.
A key attribute of our school is a safe and friendly environment for all students where parents are welcomed and learning takes place in a family atmosphere. This occurs in classrooms, learning activities and in the playground. Consistent approaches are maintained with all aspects of schooling.

An active parents' club and School Council provide an important forum for the community and supports the school in many areas including fundraising, improving facilities, financing school priorities set by Council and in fostering social links.
