PARENTS

Supporting your Child's Learning

We are often asked by parents for advice on how they can support their child’s learning at home.  Ardmona Primary School is committed to ensuring that parents and families are valued partners in their child’s learning and development.  Resources and ideas are outlined in the weekly newsletter in order to assist parents. The 'Learning Links' section of our webpage is another great place to locate resources to support learning at home.

The Victorian Department of Education and Training booklet "201 Literacy and math tips to help your child" also contains a number of fantastic ideas to support your child with their learning at home and can be downloaded on this page.

This booklet is designed to give you an insight into the way our school operates and to answer any questions concerning your child’s transition into our school.

If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to come and talk to us. It is important that you feel a comfortable partner in your child's education and that clear communication exists between school and home.
